"The concept and writing of Razorbliss music is dear to me and is inspired by all the great
music I grew up on. “ For Tommy Caradonna that included the local music scene.
“I used to go to the Alrosa as a kid, before the legal age. That place gave me the bug to
pursue music! Just listening to music real loud wasn't good enough, I had to figure it out.”
I’d say he did.
After graduating high school “T-Bone” moved to LA, eventually playing with Lita Ford and
doing a world tour with Alice Cooper.
Razorbliss came to life when Tommy returned to Columbus in 2006 and found vocalist Randy
Kuszmaul.
“It is the bastard child of Randy and my demented ideals!” Their live show is layered with the
powerful personalities of guitarists Mark Nye and Drake Tulloh and drummer Matt Mees,
formerly of the Godz.
The band's latest album, American Gomorrah, came out August 2009.
Caradonna said, “I think people first wanted to typecast our band before ever even hearing a
note. Then they actually hear it, and are completely overwhelmed by the songs and the
production. Lesson learned, never judge a book by its mascara-wearing cover.”
The band will be headlining the Alrosa Villa this Saturday. So get out your heels and your little
black dress, make your way to the front and let yourself be seduced by the frenzied theater
that is Razorbliss.
