As I Lay Dying headlines The Cool Tour this summer. The tour also includes Underoath, Between The Buried And Me, Bless The Fall, The Acacia Strain, Architects, Cancer Bats and War of Ages

Since forming in 2000 As I Lay Dying has become a
dominating force in the metal music scene.

The band has released five albums including 2007's An
Ocean Between Us, with the song "Nothing Left" nominated
for a Grammy, and the May release of The Powerless Rise.

This summer the five-member band is headlining The Cool
Tour, including a stop at The LC in Columbus, Ohio tonight.

Bassist and clean vocalist Josh Gilbert recently spoke to
OOTB during some down time at his home in Alabama.
