Kenya singer-songwriter J.S. Ondara, backed by a three piece string
group, enthralled the audience with soothing, robust vocals for an
opening set of melancholy songs that reverberated through the venue
and captivated listener's ears. Ondara released his Verve Label Group
debut last year: Tales Of America.  California five-piece indie rock band
Mt. Joy energized fans with a spirited set of danceable sing-along indie
alt rock with performances from the band's self-titled debut, including
"Silver Lining" and "Cardinal." J.S. Ondara and Mt. Joy are currently
part of the tour support lineup for The Lumineers' "III: The World Tour,"
which continues through summer.
