Breaking Benjamin's full set pleased fans with top notch performances
of their radio hits, both new and old, one song after another. Each band
member belted the catchy lyrics on stage behind a mic sharing the spot
with lead vocalist Benjamin Burnley. Smiling fans sang along to "Red
Cold River," "The Diary Of Jane," "Failure," "So Cold," "Blow Me Away,"
and many others. Before the set, Burnley announced over the PA system
that certain merch sales and an autographed guitar would be auctioned
off with proceeds benefiting Aladdin Shriners and St. Jude's Hospital.
Columbus' Starset vocalist Dustin Bates surprised fans by joining the
Pennsylvania band on stage for a special performance of "Breath."
Starset has previously toured with Breaking Benjamin. Appreciating the
current tour alongside Korn, Burnley expressed his adoration and
respect for them, calling Korn heroes and citing them as a significant
influence. "Without Korn, there would be no Breaking Benjamin," said
Burnley, who formed Breaking Benjamin in 1999. The hard rock band
closed their set with "I Will Not Bow." The band recently released a video
for "Far Away," featuring Cold vocalist Scooter Ward. Breaking Benjamin
continue touring with Korn and Bones UK through late February.
