The Top 10: Best Albums Of 2012
By Thomas Gutches
6. All Time Low : Don't Panic
A huge jump from their previous major label release. Released on their original
independent label where the band return to their pop punk roots.
5. The Ghost Inside : Get What You Give
The perfect blend of melody and hardcore. Very personal, very true.
4. The Amity Affliction : Chasing Ghosts
A true defining metalcore follow up from this Aussie outlet.
3. twenty | one | pilots : Three Songs
This band is the future.
2. deadmau5 : Album Titles Goes Here
I am a huge EDM fan and deadmau5 always delivers whether
it's a remix or full length. You feel like are at the show.
1. MGK : Lace Up
One of the best debut albums by an up and coming hip-hop artist.
Not a single skip track.
10. Further Seems Forever : Penny Black
Chris Carraba returning to his roots in his first act prior to departing for Dashboard Confessional.
Amazing comeback!!
9. Steve Aoki : Wonderland
Another future "classic" dance record.
8. Attack Attack! : This Means War
One of the more "raw" records I've heard from this band. Gives off sort of a punk rock sound.
7. Woe, Is Me : Genesis
True growth within this release.
